Bayesian thinking is as natural as being a doctor; experience tells you how to do things. Every doctor would like to justify his actions by scientific proof, but for many actions there is no proof. Sometimes you mistrust existing proof, and you might be right!

Casuistry and experience is often regarded as unscientific, but in fact the mechanism of learning by experience can be described mathematiccally, by the law of conditional probability and Bayes' theorem that is derived from this law.
